custart tart/flan pâtissier recipe
im still polishing the recipe so it could be better
Ingredients:
- 1 pâte brisée
- 175g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 800ml milk
- 200ml cream
- 90g cornstarch
- around 1tsp vanilla extract, can be replaced with vanilla sugar
Instructions:
- boil the milk and cream with the vanilla
- while its heating up mix the sugar and cornstarch
- add in the eggs and yolks and whisk
- add in the hot milk while still whisking
- then put it back in the pan and cook on low heat while still whisking for around 5 minutes until it gets a nice creamy thick consistency
- pour the cream in the dough and bake it at 180°c for 40 minutes
